Acupuncture

Acupuncture is the insertion of thin, single-use metal needles to stimulate specific points, known as ‘acupoints’, which are located along the body’s meridians. The needles help to regulate the flow of Qi throughout the body, and thus, restore health and balance to the mind and body. Our acupuncturists employ much more than just needles, though. They are trained in the theoretical and clinical concepts of Traditional Chinese Medicine, which includes tui-na (Chinese massage), cupping, gua sha, dietary therapy, electro-acupuncture, Acutonics®, meditation, mindful breathing, and more.

If there is heat, cool it; if there is cold, warm it; if there is dryness, moisten it; if there is dampness, dry it; if there is vacuity, supplement it; and if there is excess, drain it.
